I hereby give notice that, pursuant to section 96 of
the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the code of ethical
conduct approved for the Valley Animal Research Centre (Notice No. 1690, published in New Zealand Gazette,
12 August 2010, No. 99, page 2625) is suspended from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette until further notice.
This suspension is made consequent to the code holder's application under section 95(1) of the Animal Welfare Act 1999 as the holder is no longer carrying out research.
