I hereby give notice that, under section 75 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Animal Welfare (Goats) Code
of Welfare 2012 is issued on 22 March 2012 being the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette and comes into effect on 23 March 2012, being the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.
The code of welfare is available for inspection free of charge and for purchase at the following address:
