Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court the Maori freehold land that was set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 July 1994, No. 70, page 2293, and described in the Schedule hereto, the purpose of the reservation is redefined to be for the use of the land as a marae and an urupa (270 square metres as shown on the plan held by the Tairawhiti Maori Land Court) for the benefit of the descendants of Ngapera.
