Cosmetic Products Group Standard (Amendment) Notice 2009
Pursuant to section 96B(3) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996
(the "Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority ("ERMA New Zealand") gives notice that a Group Standard is amended.

1 Title
(1) This notice is the Cosmetic Products Group Standard (Amendment) Notice 2009 and is part of the principal notice.
(2) In this notice, "principal notice" means the Hazardous Substances (Group Standards) Notice 2006 (Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 30 June 2006, No. 74, page 1889).
2 Commencement
The amendments referred to in this notice come into force 28 days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
3 Amendments to Group Standard
(1) This notice amends the Cosmetic Products Group Standard 2009 (the Group Standard) referred to in Part 10 of the principal notice at page 2069.
(2) This notice amends the Group Standard as follows:
(a) Omit, in Schedule 1, sub-clause 2(4), the words "Schedules 4 to 8" and substitute with the words "Schedules 5 to 8".
(b) Omit, in Schedule 1, clause 25, the words "Schedules 4 to 8" and substitute with the words "Schedules 5 to 8".
(c) Omit, in the definition of "UV filter" in Schedule 3, the words "Schedule 7" and substitute with the words "Schedule 8".
(d) Omit, in Schedule 4, table 1, number 1136, the words "Peru balsam (INCI name: Myroxylon pereirae; CAS No 8007-00-9), when used as a fragrance ingredient" and substitute with the words "Exudation of Myroxylon pereirae (Royle) Klotzch (Peru balsam, crude); CAS No. 8007-00-9".
