The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, in a decision dated the 6th day of September 2007, pursuant to the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, determined that Dan Erik Hansson, registered nurse, had been convicted of an offence that reflected adversely on his fitness to practise as a nurse.
The tribunal cancelled his registration ordered that Dan Erik Hansson pay $250.00 towards the cost and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry and hearing, to be paid at a rate of $10.00 per week.
The tribunal also ordered that summaries of its decision be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, the New Zealand Nursing Review, the Nursing Council of New Zealand's newsletter and on the tribunal's website.
