Pursuant to section 78N(1) of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby dissolve the board of trustees of Opononi Area School and direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a commissioner to replace that board.
As a consequence of this action, the notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Opononi Area School (11) (as published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 10 April 2008, No. 71, page 1969) is hereby revoked under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989.
