Pursuant to sections 142 and 143 of the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 2006, the following notice is given.

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (Fees) Amendment Notice (No. 3) 2007 and should be read in conjunction with the notices published in the New Zealand
Gazette, 18 December 2003, No. 173, page 4790; New Zealand Gazette, 30 November 2006, No. 159, page 4675;
New Zealand Gazette, 1 March 2007, No. 24, page 575 and New Zealand Gazette, 8 March 2007, No. 27, page 721.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2008.
2. Fees—Pursuant to sections 142(1)(a) and (b), and 143 of the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 2006 (“the Act”), the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board sets the following fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.
Schedule
Fees Payable to the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (under the former Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 1976)
A. Fee1 $
Fee for the issue of an annual licence (section 36/section 36A/36B) and/or a limited certificate for each trade (section 38) 155.00
B. Disciplinary Levy2
Base disciplinary levy for each licence/limited certificate for each trade in 12 month period3 50.00
Key to Annotations
1The licence fee is increased from $85.00 to $155.00 for each licence issued for plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying and for each limited certificate held in each trade by non-apprentice persons, as from 1 April 2008.
2The base disciplinary levy is increased from $25.00 to $50.00 for each licence and each limited certificate held in each trade by non-apprentice persons.
3Relevant licence and limited certificate fee(s) including disciplinary levy, for those who are not undertaking an apprenticeship, are to be collected concurrently.
