G12 Water Supplies and Where Material Incorporated by Reference is Available for Inspection and Purchase
Pursuant to section 24(1) of the Building Act 2004 ("the Act"), I give notice of an amendment to the compliance document for New Zealand Building Code clause G12 Water Supplies ("Compliance Document G12").
The amendment to Compliance Document G12 comes into force on 1 December 2007 ("the effective date").
Compliance Document G12 is available for download free of charge from the Department of Building and Housing ("DBH") website at

Pursuant to sections 406(c)(ii) and 410(1)(e) of the Act,

in Column 1 below, will be replaced by the material in Column 2:

Viewing materials incorporated by reference
Materials incorporated by reference are available for inspection free of charge at the DBH national office,
Level 6, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The materials incorporated by reference set out above, which relate to plumbing installation and energy efficiency in buildings as referred to in section 410(1)(c) of the Act, are available for inspection free of charge at all DBH offices during working hours.
