Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
9 October 2003, page 3978, regarding the direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for Te Wharekura
O Ruatoki Board of Trustees.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in the limited statutory manager:
? Ensure the implementation of the September 2004 Education Review Office report recommendations; and
? employment powers of the board.
The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following:
? Planning and reporting requirements;
? curriculum management; and
? consolidating all new and improved systems into board management practice.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
