Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
28 August 2003, page 3197, regarding the direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Mangakino Area School Board of Trustees.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in the limited statutory manager:
? Ensuring the implementation of the October 2004 Education Review Office report recommendations;
? employment powers of the board; and
? board organisation and management.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
