Bylaw 2004/2
Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand hereby makes the following bylaw.

1. Title and commencement-This bylaw may be cited
as the Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2004/2 and comes into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Commencement deferred-Clause 1 of the Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2004/1* is hereby amended by omitting the words
"28 days after the date of its publication in the
New Zealand Gazette"
and substituting the words
"on 1 November 2004".
This bylaw was made by resolution passed in accordance with clause 73, Fourth Schedule, Land Transport Management Act 2003 on 16 June 2004.
