I hereby give notice that, under section 75 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Animal Welfare (Broiler Chickens: Fully Housed) Code of Welfare 2003 is issued and comes into force on 25 July 2003.
The code of welfare is available for inspection free of charge and for purchase at the following address:

Under sections 76 (1) and 191 (1) of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, I revoke the deemed code of welfare known as the Code of Recommendations and Minimum Standards for
the Welfare of Broiler Chickens, such revocation to take effect on 25 July 2003.
