Pursuant to Regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety Authority, I, Brent Blann, Technical Manager, hereby exempt the vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions in Schedule 3.
Schedule 1
All Holden Commodore models of the "VT" and later series and all Holden Statesman and Caprice models of the "VH" and later series.
Schedule 2
The requirement from which the class of vehicles in Schedule 1 is exempted:
Regulation 58 (3) (b) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule 3
Conditions
(i) The vehicles covered in Schedule 1 have been certified as complying with ADR 13.
(ii) The headlamps are aligned in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
(iii) This exemption will lapse on the day that Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Lighting (Rule 32005) comes into force.
