Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2003
Pursuant to sections 4 (1) and 8 (1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice is the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2003.
2. Constitution of the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District-The areas set out in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District.
3. The Fire Authority for the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District-For the purposes of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the Minister of Defence is the Fire Authority for the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District.

Canterbury Land District
All those parcels containing 8117.4129 hectares, more or less, as shown on S.O. Plan 300986, lodged in the office
of the Chief Surveyor, Canterbury (for ease of reference
that land is also shown on plans numbered NRFA 136 deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service at Wellington).
