Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council notifies that the following resolutions were passed by the Rodney District Council on 25 October 2001:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council hereby resolves that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice held by the Council in fee simple shall be and the same is hereby declared to be, a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act."
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council hereby resolves that the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice held by the Council in fee simple shall be and the same is hereby declared to be, a reserve for local purposes (museum) within the meaning of the said Act."
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council hereby resolves that the land described in the First and Second Schedules to this notice shall be named the æHelensville River Reserve' as proposed within the meaning of the said Act."
