Pursuant to section 6 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, I, J. M. Chetwin, Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice of exemption from these Regulations in their entirety of the following equipment:
Networks for the supply, distribution and discharge of water, and associated equipment and headraces such as penstocks, pressure tunnels, and pressure shafts, for hydroelectric installations.
