Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 1 described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked and the section of road described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be State Highway No. 1 within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
First Schedule
1. The section of State Highway No. 1 in Dunedin
City, commencing at a point (Route Position 683/7.50)
1.8 kilometres south of the intersection with Donalds
Hill Road and proceeding in a generally southerly
direction to a point (Route Position 683/9.40) approximately 1 kilometre north of Pigeon Flat Overbridge; a distance of 1.9 kilometres.
Second Schedule
2. The newly constructed section of road in Dunedin
City, commencing at a point (Route Position 683/7.50)
1.8 kilometres south of the intersection with Donalds
Hill Road and proceeding in a generally southerly
direction to a point (Route Position 683/8.97) approximately 1 kilometre north of Pigeon Flat Overbridge; a distance of 1.47 kilometres.
