Notice of Decision of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand The Disciplinary Tribunal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand decided on the 12th day of October 1999, that it was satisfied that it was necessary and desirable having regard to the interests of the public and for the financial interests of one or more persons that John Bernard Mathewson of Christchurch be suspended from membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand pending the further order of the tribunal. The tribunal ordered accordingly. Mr Mathewson applied to the disciplinary tribunal for revocation of that part of the decision ordering publication of the notice. A hearing was set down for the 29th day of November 1999, but as Mr Mathewson withdrew his appeal before the hearing, the decision ordering suspension is now published. Dated this 30th day of November 1999. PETER BROOKS, Secretary for the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.
