Food Standards The Australia New Zealand Food Authority advises progress on the following matters relating to food standards. You are invited to present written submissions to the authority on this matter, including the potential regulatory impact on consumers, industry and government, by Wednesday, 8 December 1999. Percentage Labelling (P207) & Added Water (P206). Proposals to review the labelling requirements for foods to incorporate the percentage labelling of key or characterising ingredients of foods and for added water. Call for Submissions Applications The authority has made a preliminary assessment, accepted the following application for further consideration and will now make a full assessment of it. You are invited to present written submissions to the authority, including the potential regulatory impact on consumers, industry and government, by Wednesday, 22 December 1999. Use of Stevioside (A397). An application to extend the use of Stevioside as an artificial sweetener. Call for Submissions Applications The authority will conduct an inquiry into the draft variations to standards prepared at full assessment of the following application. You are invited to present written submissions to the authority, including the potential regulatory impact on consumers, industry and government, by Wednesday, 22 December 1999. Cellulose-based Ion Exchange Resins (A367). An application to permit the use of four cellulose-based ion exchange resins.
