Revoking Section of State Highway Declaring New Section of State Highway State Highway No. 1 and State Highway No. 78: Timaru Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 1 described in the First Schedule hereto, is revoked and the sections of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, are declared to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989. First Schedule State Highway No. 1 in Timaru from a point (at RP 501/4.61) located on Evans Street approximately 30 metres measured in a northerly direction from the northern projected boundary of Wai-iti Road extending in a southerly direction along Stafford Street and King Street to the eastern boundary of Craigie Avenue (at RP 501/7.36); a distance of approximately 2.72 kilometres. Second Schedule Section to be Declared State Highway No. 1 That section of road in Timaru from a point (at RP 501/4.61) located on Evans Street approximately 30 metres measured in a northerly direction from the northern projected boundary of Wai-iti Road, extending in a southerly direction along Theodosia Street and Craigie Avenue to the intersection of the projected eastern boundary of Craigie Avenue and the eastern boundary of King Street (at RP 501/6.95); a distance of approximately 2.31 kilometres. Section to be Declared State Highway No. 78 That section of Sefton Street in Timaru from its intersection with Theodosia Street (at RP 0/0.00) extending in an easterly direction to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Stafford Street (at RP 0/0.17); a distance of approximately 170 metres.
