Declaration Under District Courts Act 1947 Relating to Appointment of District Court Judge as Ombudsman Pursuant to section 5 (4) of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General has declared that in her opinion holding the office of Ombudsman appointed under the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is not incompatible with judicial duties.
