Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Radio Buoy Apparatus) Notice 1994 Pursuant to regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, and acting under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, I hereby give the following notice. N o t i c e 1. Short title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Radio Buoy Apparatus) Notice 1994. (2) This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of February 1994. 2. General licence A licence under regulation 13 of the principal regulations is hereby granted in respect of the installation, operation, and use, by persons within the territorial waters of New Zealand, of radio apparatus for the purpose of indicating and locating the position of nets, long-lines, crayfish pots and other materials used in the process of fishing. 3. Terms, conditions and restrictions (1) The transmitter carrier frequencies available for use under this licence shall be those specified in the First Schedule to this notice. (2) The technical conditions applying under this licence shall be those specified in the Second Schedule to this notice. 4. Period of validity of licence This licence shall expire on 31 January 1999. This note prescribes that, pursuant to regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, a general licence is granted in respect of the installation, operation, and use of radio apparatus on the frequencies specified in this notice. This notice comes into effect on 3 February 1994.
