Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road (State Highway No. 71): Christchurch 1. It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 1 June 1994 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 71 in Christchurch on both sides of the highway commencing at a point located on the central median nose (Kaiapoi side) of the Christchurch Northern Motorway overbridge (RP 0/0.00) and extending to a point located 173 metres (RP 0/6.40) southeast of the projected centreline of Railway Road on the southwestern side and 220 metres (RP 0/6.36) southeast of the projected centreline of Railway Road on the northeastern side of the highway as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan TNZ CH/53 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Christchurch and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
