Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, I, Chai Chuah, Director-General of Health, issue the following notice, effective from 1 January 2018.

Notice

1. This notice shall be read together with the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992 Appointment of Directors of Area Mental Health Services (“principal notice”) (New Zealand Gazette, 22 June 2017, Issue No. 65, 2017-go 3043).
2. This amendment to the principle notice extends the expiry date from 31 December 2017 to 30 June 2018.
